This trick has a single and double trick to it and can be easily learned after watching the video. In a game situation, the scissors should be performed in the attacking half of the field and you should always execrate away from the opponent after faking.

The Step Over Fake is the sister trick to the Step Over Turn. This trick allows you to beat a defender 1v1 and or in some space to attack. This is a good change of direction fake. The trick is best used to ‘wrong foot’ a defender by cutting in on his/her weaker side depending on the position he/she plays. Remember to go slower in to the fake and faster out of it to get away from the opponent. Practice having a shot or cross after mastering this fake.
